The Year is Ending!!!

Wow, 2009 is almost finished. I don't know where the year went. But, I am ready for 2010 to start. We are now taking action photos at Barrel Racing Events. It is so much fun. The people are great and so family-oriented. Exactly the crowd we love. The horses are beautiful and the arenas are cool. We are traveling from Baton Rouge, LA to Bryan, TX. We already have events on our calendar for October of 2010. Soooo Exciting!!!

We are still scheduling studio sessions or location sessions. But, I am proud to say our weekend sessions are filling up fast.

2009 was so fast. I hope we can slow down and enjoy 2010. Oh well, a girl can always hope. Ha!Ha! In 2010, sewing is out and barrel racing is in. We do have a few dresses left over from Katelyn's Kollection, if anyone is interested. 1/2 price.

A few days after your portrait's taken, the image will be uploaded to the Clark Photography Facebook Party album, and we'll email you a link so you can tag yourself and drag the image to your desktop to use on your social networking or e-dating sites.

Oldest Godchild and the Boys!

Here are a few pics of Doc and the boys in Beaumont and a few in Nederland. Had fun. Chris and Nathan were not going to take any pictures, but of course when the time came - they jumped right in.

I had a blast with Heather and Sam. We started at their home in Henderson, LA. Then, we ventured into Lafayette. That is when the real fun began. I would go into detail, but I don't want to incriminate myself.

National Charity Model Search

Is your child America’s Cutest Kid?

Clark Photography is participating in the National Charity Model Search to select “America’s Cutest Kid” and to raise funds for charity.

We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.

Models Search Special:
$25 entrance fee, which includes a 30 minute model session and one image submitted to the national gallery.

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. (NILMDTS.org)

Grand prize national winner will be determined from the 50 city finalists. Winners selected by photography and modeling industry experts.

If your child is selected the national winner, you’ll receive many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.

My favorite.

Thanks to Mrs. M. She was a great model. We went on an adventure in downtown Beaumont. We were looking for old buildings and such. Boy did we hit the jackpot. Beaumont is full of history. Where there is history, there is old vacant buildings. Cool places for photos.

It was a blast.

He is beautiful. Congratulations Brent, Crystal and Landyn.

These are a few of the hospital pictures. We will meet in a couple of weeks to do a complete newborn session at their home.

Pet Family Photos

I got to take photos of our adorable pets. Tyler helped by putting each one on and off of the stool. He even took a few shots himself. He does fine work. I must say.

Tippie is the oldest of our Pet Family. He will be 1 year old in March. Then comes Snowball. He is about 6 months old. And, just recently, we added Frederick. Frederick is only 8 weeks old.

Frederick and Snowball love to torment each other through-out the house. While, Tippie enjoys running and barking outside.

Maternity Portraits - Take Two!

This weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing my sister-in-law in her delicate state. This was actually our second photo session. She is the perfect model, and I am not saying that because the baby will be my godchild. LOL ;) I was pretty pleased with our mini-shoot. Can't wait until the baby gets here. 7 more weeks and counting!
